The Inspiration
Last year my 80 year old grandmother, despite having a carer, slipped and fell in the shower resulting in life threatening injuries. This left me horrified and determined to drive change.
Suspecting that this is a widespread problem, I undertook research and carried out surveys targeted at those who had experience of receiving or providing care.
The findings suggested that an alternative to conventional washing processes was desparately required, with COVID emphasising the importance of hygiene.
Therefore, the purpose of the BLOSSOM1 is to ensure that kind-hearted people like my grandmother can enjoy a healthy dignified life.
